We have restructured our user accounts and they are now all numeric
(unfortunately).  I have tried recent versions of sudo and they do not seem
to be able to support an all numeric login id.  Sudo works fine if the
first character of the login is alphabetical.

The current version of sudo, 1.6.3p5 allows all numeric login ids
