Description Stepan Kasal 2007-08-24 09:32:33 MDT
The CVS still contains the file ltconfig, which is not used by libtool 1.4 and newer. It can be deleted.
Comment 1 Todd C. Miller 2007-08-24 09:40:36 MDT
ltconfig was removed from cvs when libtool was updated to 1.9f. It only exists in the Attic.

Indded, CVSweb shows that the file is no longer there.
But, unfortunately, anoncvs (-d :pserver:anoncvs@anoncvs.sudo.ws:/cvs) does not reflect this change.
I'm afraid this is a bug in the cvs mirroring.
Would you please remove it from anoncvs manually?

Actually, a quick check shows that many deleted files still exist in anoncvs tree, staring from `ltconfig' (deleted 3 years ago), including files like `sudo.tab.[ch]' (deleted 2 years ago), and ending with BUGS, which was deleted 2 days ago.

Please forgive me that I'm re-opening this bug; I'm not sure if it's the right way to report this. (I changed the summary line, at least.)

Aha, I didn't think to look at the anoncvs mirror. There was no --delete option in the rsync cron job that keeps the two in sync. That's fixed now.

That was really quick! Thanks.
