Bug 592

Summary: fixmdoc removes -S from man 8 sudo when built without selinux
Product: Sudo Reporter: Florian Pritz <bluewind>
Component: DocumentationAssignee: Todd C. Miller <Todd.Miller>
Status: RESOLVED FIXED
Severity: normal
Priority: low
Version: 1.8.6
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Attachments: Don't remove the -S option from the list

Description Florian Pritz 2013-02-28 05:38:03 MST
Run the following in ./doc:
LCMAN=0 SEMAN=1 PSMAN=0 ./fixmdoc.sh sudo.mdoc.sed; make sudo.mdoc; man ./sudo.mdoc

Change SEMAN=1 to 0 and notice how -S is no longer documented although it is still available.

Expected result: -S should be in DESCRIPTION, not only in SYNOPSIS.

Tested with sudo-1.8.6p6 on Arch Linux.
