Hi,

sudo stopped reaping the child process and is blocked in poll sleep state, while the child process is in zombie state. This is really similar to PR 657, but in doubt i've opened a new ticket since we are only seing the issue with 1.8.11, 1.8.10 is working as expect.

I've bisected the issue and it has been introduced by the revision 9478:7ffa2eefd3c0
