Description Donny Jekels 2003-04-21 09:34:36 MDT
I am not sure if this is correct but needed to find out if sudo 1.6.6 has
anything to do with roots account being messed up?

I compiled 1.6.6 on my test box, then tared up
/etc/sudoers
/usr/local/bin/sudo
/usr/local/sbin/visudo

this tar was extracted on 2 other machines, both those machines root is also
now messed up.
I did'nt include the man pages as we dont need it on all other machines.

Please advise.
tahnks
Donny

Sudo doesn't do what you describe. You should check the tarball you created and see if there are other things in it that you did not intend to include.
