Description Robin Venables 2005-03-30 07:21:16 MST
Environmental variable TZ is set in /etc/environment to GMT0BST,M3.5.0,M10.5.0
From my user ID, this is set, but not if I sudo to another user:

$ echo $TZ
GMT0BST,M3.5.0,M10.5.0
$ date
Wed Mar 30 15:15:42 BST 2005
$ sudo -s
$ date
Wed Mar 30 15:15:50 BST 2005
$ su - oracle
$ date
Wed 30 Mar 15:15:57 2005
$ exit
$ exit
$ sudo -u oracle -i
$ date
Wed Mar 30 14:16:13 UTC 2005
$

Can we get sudo to source /etc/environment on AIX?

Dupe of bug #83; not fixable until someone gives me access to an AIX 5 machine.
