Description Thore Schmechtig 2006-02-14 13:56:37 MST
Short and simple: On both machines I tried sudo out on, the NOPASSWD tag in the
sudoers file has no effect. When I use that, sudo asks for the password anyway.
Only "!authenticate" has any effect.

Both machines run SuSE 9.2, sudo 1.6.7p5

(Has SuSE messed with the sudo code without telling anyone?)

Can you please provide the relevant entries in the sudoers file? As well as the
command you are trying to run and the contents of your PATH statement.

Old version of sudo, no submitter feedback.
