Description Nicolai 2011-04-12 06:59:11 MDT
Hi,

I just tried to upgrade sudo on a few boxes. It fails in all my jails.

===>  Installing for sudo-1.8.1_3
install: mkdir 0750: Read-only file system
*** Error code 71

Stop in /basejail/usr/ports/security/sudo.
*** Error code 1

Is this a know issue in jails, or should I contact the maintainer of the FreeBSD port directly?

This is FreeBSD 7.4, btw.

The install is trying to create the /etc/sudo.d directory but your root filesystem is apparently read-only.
Comment 2 Nicolai 2011-04-13 05:05:09 MDT
FreeBSD ports maintainer fixed it last night/today.

It works now :)
