Description asachan4 2014-09-02 06:41:49 MDT
In Sudo-1.8.10p3
sudoedit option is not working in both the flavours of HP-UX (Parisc and Itanium)with user other than root.
as softlink has been created
# ls -l
total 1872
---s--x--x   1 root       root        610440 Aug 29 20:43 sudo
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root       sys              4 Sep  2 18:05 sudoedit -> sudo
---x--x--x   1 root       root        335952 Aug 29 20:43 sudoreplay

I tried using ./sudo -e <filename>

It worked.
But in same version of sudo, sudoedit functionality is working properly for other OSs like, Aix and Solaris sparc/opteron.
Any work out??
