Description Robert Perce 2018-02-26 16:31:16 MST
I selected 1.8.16 because that's what I have installed, but I suspect from viewing https://www.sudo.ws/repos/sudo/file/tip/doc/sudoers.man.in that it's present (the bug, not the parenthesis) in the latest version as well.

In the "Including other files from within sudoers" section, the fourth paragraph (or fifth, if you count the line '#include /etc/sudoers.local' that stands alone) first sentence is:

> If the path to the include file is not fully-qualified (does not
> begin with a ‘/’, it must be located in the same directory as the
> sudoers file it was included from.

Note the unclosed parenthesis. I believe a closing parenthesis should be inserted immediately before the only comma in that sentence.

Sorry, to clarify, this issue is in the man page, viewable by `man 5 sudoers`.
